Sage Hill Athletic Camps provide current and entering Sage Hill students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the sport(s) in which they will participate in the 2025-2026 school year.
Who: Sage Hill students entering grades 9-12 When: This camp meets weekly, Monday through Friday, from June 16 to July 3. (Note: Camp will not be held on Friday, July 4.) Time: 12:30 to 3:30 PM What: This camp is for incoming and current Sage Hill boys' basketball players. In the camp, athletes will work on skill development and learn Lightning boys' basketball core principles and values. The camp will also include scrimmages and summer league games (the schedule for summer league games will be determined at a later date). All camp members will receive a Sage Hill boys' basketball T-shirt and practice jersey. Practice jerseys will be used for summer league games and scrimmages. Gear: Athletes should wear athletic attire (shorts, T-shirt, etc.) and proper basketball shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle and mouthguard (optional). Cost: $625
Boys' Soccer
Who: Sage Hill students entering grades 9-12 When: This camp is offered for two different sessions:
Monday, June 16 to Friday, June 27 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM
Monday, June 30 through Thursday, July 3 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM
What: This camp is a great opportunity for incoming and current boys' soccer players to learn about the Sage Hill soccer program working with current professional coaches. The camp will focus on skill and team development -- dribbling, passing, finishing, defending, specific positioning training -- while also working on team strategies and game-like situations. There will be intrasquad scrimmages and fun games for everyone. Gear: Athletes should wear athletic apparel (T-shirt/shorts) and soccer shoes (cleats or turf) and shin guards. Bring a water bottle and a soccer ball (optional). Cost: $390 for the two-week session; $250 for the one-week session
Football
Who: Sage Hill students entering grades 9-12 When: This camp meets weekly, Monday through Thursday, from June 16 to July 17. Time: 3:00 to 5:30 PM What: This high school football camp will prepare our student athletes for the upcoming fall season andwill consist of weightlifting, football type workouts and learning strategies and plays for Sage Hill football. Gear: Athletes should wear T-shirt, shorts, cleats and bring workout shoes, water bottle and sunscreen. Cost: $750
Girls' Flag Football
Who: Sage Hill students entering grades 9-12 When: For two weeks,Monday through Thursday, from June 16 to June 27. Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM What: This camp will help train and teach our student athletes the fundamentals of flag football before the fall season. Gear: Athletes should wear athletic gear and bring cleats, water, football gloves and a mouthguard. Cost: $425
Tennis (Coed)
Who: Sage Hill students entering grades 9-12 When: This camp is offered for two different sessions:
Monday, June 9 to Thursday, June 12 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM;
Monday, June 9 to Thursday, June 12 from 6:30 to 9:00 PM
What: These tennis camps are designed for the competitive tennis player who is going to play on one of the Sage Hill tennis teams. It is not an introductory program. Sessions emphasize technique, drills, match play in singles and doubles, and conditioning. The camps provide an excellent coach-to-student ratio so players receive plenty of attention. Gear: Water bottle and racquet. Cost: $325
Water Polo
Who: Sage Hill students entering grades 9-12 When: This camp meets weekly, Monday through Thursday, from June 11 to July 10. Time: Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 to 10:00 AM; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:15 AM. What: Each daily session of this camp will be split into two parts with weights/dry land training and in the pool training. The camp will include water polo skills, drills, fundamentals, conditioning, tactics and scrimmaging against other teams. Gear: Athletes should bring water polo suit, googles, towel, sunscreen, weightlifting clothes, closed-toe shoes and a water bottle. Cost: $775
