Welcome to Summer at Sage

Summer at Sage offers middle school and high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves in fun and inspirational summer camps and enrichment workshops, athletic camps, and academic credit and/or non-credit classes -- all on the beautiful state-of-the-art Sage Hill campus in Newport Coast.

Students will experience the Sage Hill difference while learning in small classes with Sage Hill faculty, or training in our athletic facilities with a fantastic coaching staff.

Camp Sage: July 7 to August 1, 2025 (Register now!)

  • Camp Sage

    Who: Students ages 10-14 years old, and entering grades 5-8 in the Fall of 2025
    When: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM during the weeks of July 7 through August 1, 2025.
    What: Camp Sage is an exciting opportunity for middle school students to experience Sage Hill School. Students are invited to attend our weeklong day camps filled with a variety of activities. Students will choose an AM and PM activity, and each day includes a provided lunch. Extend your Camp Sage day with an optional hour from 3:00 to 4:00 PM! During this time, campers will participate in a variety of activities, including a pool party or outdoor games. Lifeguards will be on duty for all pool activities, but all campers must have basic water safety skills. Price is included in the cost of camp.

  • Lightning Athletics Academy

    Who: Students entering grades 5-8 in the Fall of 2025
    When: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM during the weeks of July 7 to August 1, 2025. Half-day options are also available.
    What: This athletic camp is intended for intermediate to advanced young athletes who plan to play their sport(s) in high school. Camps will be taught by Sage Hill coaches at our beautiful athletic facilities. Lunch is provided to all full-day campers. Extend your Lightning Athletics Academy day with an optional hour from 3:00 to 4:00 PM! During this time, campers will participate in a variety of activities, including a pool party or outdoor games. Lifeguards will be on duty for all pool activities, but all campers must have basic water safety skills. Price is included in the cost of camp.
    Cost: $500 per week for full-day camp. $275 per week for half-day camp.

  • Enrichment Workshops

    Who: Students entering grades 7-12 in the Fall of 2025, depending on the workshop
    When: June through August 2025
    What: We are pleased to offer workshops and enrichment classes that provide extraordinary learning experiences for students interested in exploring new interests, strengthening skills, or advancing their current understanding in non-traditional classes. Students will not receive credit for these enrichment classes and workshops.

  • Academic Credit Classes

    Who: Students entering grades 7-12 in the Fall of 2025, depending on the class
    When: Credit classes meet daily for five weeks from June 23 through July 25, 2024.
    What: All credit classes are taught by Sage Hill faculty. Complete a year’s work and earn a full year’s credit through daily classes and regularly assigned homework. Sage Hill students who successfully complete an academic credit course receive graduation credit on their transcripts, as well as a letter grade incorporated into their GPA (students from other high schools must confirm their own school’s credit requirements). Please note that credit classes taken while a student is in grades 6-8 will not apply toward Sage Hill’s graduation requirements if that student ends up attending the School.
    Registration opens on March 1, 2025.
  • Sage Connected Credit Classes

    Who: Students entering grades 7-12 in the Fall of 2025, depending on the class
    When: All Sage Connected classes meet virtually for five weeks, from June 23 to July 25, 2025, with various on-campus meeting times. 
    What: Sage Connected combines a flexible high school online environment with periodic campus visits for assessments and group work. Sage Hill students who successfully complete a Sage Connected course receive graduation credit on their transcript as well as a letter grade that will be incorporated into their GPA. Students from other high schools must confirm their own school’s credit requirements.
    Registration opens on March 1, 2025.
  • High School Athletic Camps

    Who: Current and incoming Sage Hill students 
    When: Various weeks throughout the summer
    What: Sage Hill Athletic Camps provide student athletes an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the sport(s) in which they will participate in the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Camps take place throughout the summer at our beautiful athletic facilities.
    Registration opens in Spring 2025.

December 18, 2024: Registration opens for Camp Sage, Lightning Athletics Academy and Enrichment Workshops
March 1, 2025: Registration opens for credit classes and high school athletic camps
May 1, 2025: 50% cancellation fee begins for Biology credit class
May 15, 2025: Deadline for full refund (except for Biology credit class), less $100 non-refundable deposit. *No refunds after this date*
June 23, 2025: Credit classes begin
July 7, 2025: Camp Sage and Lightning Athletics Academy begin

Credit Course Policies

Attendance and Add/Drop Policy
Sage Hill students who successfully complete an academic credit course during Summer at Sage will receive graduation credit, which will appear on their transcripts, as well as a letter grade that will be incorporated into their GPA as a full year course. Credit for summer courses will appear on the transcript for the upcoming school year. Students may not miss more than two classes during Summer at Sage to receive credit. If a student misses more than two days, they will be dropped from the class, will not earn credit and can no longer attend. Students are not allowed to audit classes. If a student tests positive for COVID and will need to miss more than two days of an academic Summer at Sage course, the student will be given access to the class remotely. Sage Hill will not offer distance learning for any classes under any circumstance. Students enrolled in a Sage Connected course may not miss any of the required on-campus class days. 
 
Any credit course dropped after July 1, 2025 will result in a notation of W/F (withdraw fail) or W/P (withdraw pass) on the student’s transcript. Students are not permitted to withdraw from a credit course after July 11, 2025.
 
Cancellation and Refund Policy
May 1, 2025: 50% cancellation fee begins for Biology credit class
May 15, 2025: Deadline for full refund (except for Biology credit class), less $100 non-refundable deposit. *No refunds after this date*
June 23, 2025: Credit classes begin
 
A non-refundable deposit of $100 will be withheld from all refunds.
