Sage defeats Capo

Sage Hill defeated Capo Valley Christian 2-0. League record 2-1. Match scores 25-16, 25-15. The Lightning served 15 aces last Friday in a commanding win over CVC. Darcy Andrews started things off serving to a 5-0 lead in game one. Nikki Gozali added five service aces and 4 kills leading the team in all categories. Kari Korper and Kelly Carpenter had two service aces each and Nikta Lotfian and Jessica Sambuco each added one ace. Ball control was steady and unforced errors were kept to a minimum. Both Kari Korper and Nikki Gozali also used their jump serve for the first time this season. Sage Hill is in a very good place to meet St. Margaret's and Oxford this week. We have a full team present and everybody is in good health.
