Week 4, July 28-August 1
Have you always wanted to make your own book? In this class, students will learn to make short books of all shapes, forms, and sizes -- zines, "magic" books, accordion books, and even small sewn pamphlets. All supplies will be provided -- all that's needed is imagination! However, students are welcome to bring extra art supplies, decorative paper, old newspapers, or magazines to collage with. The focus will be on making the books, but we will also do some creative writing exercises to generate content for their books, including haiku, superhero stories, cloud observations and more!
