Laney Tucker
Laney Tucker (2024) is the Vice President & Senior Counsel of Retail Properties at The Irvine Company.
Laney negotiates leases on behalf of The Irvine Company and also oversees litigation matters and operations related to the Company's retail portfolio. Prior to joining The Irvine Company, Laney worked as a transactional real estate attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Jones Day. While at Gibson, Laney used her fluency in Spanish to close several real estate transactions in Costa Rica and represented Central and South Americans seeking asylum in the United States. Laney serves as a member of the Harvesters, a charitable group supporting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, and is on the Steering Committee of the Newport Beach Public Library Foundation Witte Hall Capital Campaign. Laney is a 2009 graduate of Sage Hill School, where she served as the Co-Chair of the Student Ambassador Program and Co-Captain of the Varsity Tennis Team. After Sage Hill, Laney attended Emory University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
