What is Spring at Sage?
Spring at Sage is Sage Hill’s Global Education and Experiential Learning program. Immediately following final exams in the Spring, all students and faculty spend a week or more participating in local seminars or group travel.
Spring at Sage offerings are designed with purpose and intention for students to explore current issues, diverse cultures, local initiatives, and global institutions beyond the traditional classroom. Travel destinations are selected annually with a guiding learning objective at the center of each itinerary.
Global Pillars of Education
The Global Pillars of Education at Sage Hill School are the five interlinked guiding concepts we believe current generations must engage with to become impactful and conscientious leaders of our world.
Students explore local community entities such as NGOs, small businesses and political groups that have a direct impact on shaping the direction of their country.
Students unpack how modern societies work to rectify historical injustices and create new systems, policies, and norms to foster more democratic practices.
Students learn about the process of developing and implementing creative ideas or technologies that address complex challenges in a society and help drive progress.
Students explore how certain systems help meet the needs of current and future generations with ecosystems, natural resources, and cultural preservation in mind.
Sage Hill School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other School administered programs.
